Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana with a fork.
- Add the sugar, egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla to the bowl and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
