Wet Ingredients
  • 1 piece ripe banana Use a very ripe banana for the best flavor.
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 piece egg
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana with a fork.
  3. Add the sugar, egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
