  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup colored sprinkles For decoration

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk until well blended.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool before adding colorful sprinkles on top.
